A cargo aircraft featuring a unique loading/unloading mechanism.
In this project, with a team of five, we designed a cargo aircraft from scratch. The work included conceptual design, defining requirements, and analyzing competing aircraft. We performed initial sizing, weight estimation, and constraint analysis, and selected the wing area and engine size based on wing loading and thrust-to-weight ratios. The final configuration and main dimensions were defined, and a preliminary aerodynamic analysis using AAA software was conducted to evaluate the aircraftโs performance.
A 3D model of a drone designed to pick up and lift small parcels.
With a team of five, we designed a drone in SolidWorks capable of picking up and lifting small parcels. I focused on reducing energy consumption by designing an extendable arm that allows the drone to pick up objects with minimal vertical motion, which helps save energy and reduces contact with the environment, protecting the drone from potential damage.
A full 3D model of the French Rafale fighter jet using SolidWorks. This complete project significantly enhanced my skills in creating CAD models.
An organizer for daily-use personal items.
In this project, I designed and 3D printed my signature on-desk organizer, intended to keep daily-use items in one place. It is designed with two separate sections:
1- The right section is for non-chargeable items, including glasses, a wristwatch, car keys, a wallet, and a pen.
2- The left section is designed to hold and charge, through hidden cable routes, an iPhone, an Apple Watch, and AirPods.
The paper collector is an on-desk item designed to hold A4-size paper, with slots at the front for storing pins of different sizes. The hole pattern adds an extra feature by making the design lightweight.
The table extension is cleverly designed to serve multiple purposes and fit different table thicknesses despite its simple design. The screw can be tightened to match the desired table thickness. The hole pattern not only reduces weight but also allows storage of tools such as screwdrivers, meaning the extension can hold items both on top of it and through it.
